10K Yellow Gold Carved Shell Cameo Brooch

Shell cameo brooch featuring a right-facing profile portrait of a woman. The subject is depicted with elaborate wavy hair adorned with a floral circlet, a draped garment, and a bouquet of roses at the shoulder. The carving is executed in a cream-white top layer against a peach-to-terracotta background. The oval cameo is housed in a 10K yellow gold frame with a twisted wire scalloped border. The reverse is fitted with a horizontal pin and a rotating safety clasp. Frame is unmarked but tested with Thermo Scientific Niton XL2 XRF Precious Metal Analyzer.
