The manual wind mechanical movement features a safety pinion and decorative damaskeening. The interior dust cover bears an oval mark for I.W.C. Co. Elgin, Ill. and is stamped Napoleon 14K with serial number 111545; a hand-scratched jeweler mark reading 9357 is also present. The movement is marked New York Standard Watch Co. U.S.A. Safety Pinion and bears serial number 1028618. Accompanied by a rope-twist chain with a spring-ring clasp stamped 1/20 12K G.F.
