2pc Japanese Buddhist Prints on Paper

A pair of Japanese Buddhist prints on paper. One work of Shakyamuni depicts the seated Buddha with a surrounding aura, while the other features Raigo of Amida as a kneeling Bodhisattva holding a lotus offering vessel. The compositions are rendered in a classical iconographic style with delicate line work, stylized clouds, and intricate drapery. Each work is set within a decorative gold-leafed mat and housed in a black-finished frame. The reverse of each frame bears a rectangular white printed label from ARTLORE. The labels include Japanese Dieties (sic), Raigo de Amida Kannon on the Buddha example. Sight size: 13.75"W x 9.75"H.
