Rosenthal Studio-Linie German porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. The white porcelain body features a broad light blue horizontal band on both pieces. The cup is decorated with a gilded maritime emblem consisting of a vertical key crossed with a diagonal anchor, the insignia of the Norddeutscher Lloyd shipping line. The cup is of cylindrical form with a loop handle and slightly recessed base. The base of each piece is printed with a mark in green reading "Rosenthal in stylized script" beneath a crown and crossed lines symbol.
