A “Rugrats” Production Cel and Background Setup.

(Nickelodeon, 1992) An original multi-layer production cel and background setup from the “Rugrats” episode “Aisle Seven,” featuring Tommy Pickles. Klasky-Csupo would typically paint the backgrounds on cels instead of illustration board, giving their shows a unique look with the character layers blending in with the background environments. Tommy has an image size of 8" x 16" on a 10.5" x 21.5" cel, while the background measures 10.5" x 21". The art is in very good condition with scratches, spots of paint loss on Tommy's diaper, some paint transfer, and wear from production use.
