(Disney, 1959) A framed original photostat model sheet of Samson for "Sleeping Beauty,” featuring the early spelling of the character's name “Sampson.” Model sheets such as this were taken from original drawings and distributed among animators to ensure a consistent depiction of the characters. Measuring 10" x 12" in a 14.25" x 16.25" frame, the model sheet is in good condition, with the edges slightly trimmed, creases, and a vertical fold from studio use and storage, while the frame is in very good condition with scratches and light scuffs.
