Afghan Turkmen rug, hand knotted in Afghanistan from 100% wool. Measuring 8'3" x 11', this rug features a rich burgundy and deep red field covered with an all-over repeating geometric pattern. Small diamond and octagonal motifs are arranged in a dense, uniform composition, creating a detailed traditional tribal appearance. The design is accented with shades of dark brown, black, muted rose, and small ivory highlights. Multiple geometric borders surround the central field, including repeating diamond patterns, zigzag guard borders, and stylized tribal motifs.
