Woodcut on paper after Sakai Hoitsu from the series Flowers and Birds through Four Seasons, depicting a vibrant red poppy, a dark purple bud, and a cluster of light blue hydrangea blossoms set against a neutral ground with delicate foliage. The work is housed in a faux-bamboo wooden frame under a wide silk-covered mat. The reverse features a white adhesive paper label with Japanese text identifying the work as 'A frothy Poppy' by Hoitsu Jonin (Sakai) and providing biographical details on the artist.
