THE ARTIST Aiiroh is a French artist born in Narbonne in 1987. Rooted in graffiti culture and street art, he developed early in the 2000s a body of work around stenciling, collage, and urban posters. His universe draws notably from Pop Art, New Pop Art, and the poster artist movement, with references to artists such as Raymond Hains, Jacques Villeglé, François Dufrêne, or Mimmo Rotella. Aiiroh subverts the codes of advertising, major brands, and icons of popular culture to explore their influence on our collective imagination and our relationship to consumption. His compositions mix acrylic paint, spray paint, stencil, collage, and mixed media, in a colorful, energetic visual language that is immediately identifiable. Present in many galleries in France and internationally, Aiiroh has had his works exhibited and collected in Europe, the United States, and Asia. He has also participated in various projects and collaborations with players in the luxury, gastronomy, and contemporary art worlds. His work seeks above all to preserve the energy and spontaneity of the street while translating them into a contemporary, popular, and decidedly optimistic aesthetic. If the artwork shows damage, please refuse the delivery and specify the exact reason on the carrier’s delivery note (for example: “broken,” “damaged,” or “folded”). If only the packaging carton is damaged, please also note this on the delivery note. Any delivery accepted without checking the condition of the artwork will unfortunately no longer allow a compensation claim with the carrier nor a replacement. Delivery times The shipping time may take up to two weeks. If you know you will be away during this period, contact us before sending so that we can reschedule your shipment under the best conditions. Shipping of artworks Each work is prepared, protected, and individually wrapped before the sale starts. For this reason, grouped shipments are not offered. This arrangement ensures fast shipping and complies with Catawiki’s logistics requirements.
