Fitch" and inscribed "after Mme Lebrun - Paris - 1901" to LL. Framed. Approximate dimensions: Canvas: 21 1/2 x 16 3/8 in. (54.6 x 41.6 cm.) Frame: 25 1/4 x 20 x 1 5/8 in. (64.1 x 50.8 x 4.1 cm.) Artist Bio: A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Alice Underwood Fitch traveled to France in 1900 to study painting. She became known for her miniatures and copies of famous paintings in the Louvre and other major collections.
