An Enchanted Tiki Room Limited Edition Barker Bird.

(Disneyland, 2005) A replica of the Barker Bird from Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, released in a limited edition of 1500 for Disneyland’s 50th anniversary. The original animatronic bird appeared outside the Adventureland attraction but was removed because crowds stopped to watch him talk, causing pedestrian traffic jams. This replica was created by Kevin Kidney and Jody Daily from the original molds of Imagineer Blaine Gibson's sculpt from the early 1960s. Measuring 15.5" x 10" x 23" tall, the mixed-media Barker Bird displays in fine condition, with scratches on the base and minor wear. This item requires special shipping arrangements.
