(Disneyland, 1960s) A vest from an animatronic figure in the Middle East room of It’s a Small World. Alice Davis designed costumes for the attraction using fabrics and adapting garments from the areas they represent. This vest is labeled inside at the neck “Made in Pakistan” from clothing manufacturer Serai. Gold filigree decorates the collar and edges, with nine blue plastic mirrored beads throughout, missing one and missing the mirrors from six. Measuring 12.5” x 13.5”, the vest is in good condition with wear from use.
