An Official Walt Disney's Davy Crockett Paper Hat Promotional Premium.

(Disney, 1954/55) An extremely rare two-piece Davy Crockett paper coonskin hat distributed as a premium from various bakeries throughout the United States. The entire unpunched piece measures 33” x 4” and includes a 24” wraparound hat and a 7” tail. The outer printed band features an image of Fess Parker as Davy Crockett, while the inner band was custom printed for participating bakeries. This particular one tells the story of a wheat Kernel becoming bread and was made as a more generic version that does not point to a specific bakery. Rare to find unused, the hat is in very good condition with minor wear from age throughout.
