Armand Marseille - Doll Jouet animé - 1910-1920 - Germany

Rare antique wind-up toy, a doll whose unmarked bisque head is probably made by Armand Marseille (Germany). The limbs are composition. It has a seated pose, which is why I am including the small painted wooden bench - 13 x 5.5 x 9.5 cm (a few chips). A bellows animates the head, which turns, and makes the arms move with the bells. Small signs of wear and stains on the clothing, which is just pinned on.

Estimate:£0.84
