CASTORO CANADESE (Castor canadensis) Impressive and realistic specimen of the North American beaver (Castor canadensis), prepared in a dynamic and natural pose. The animal is depicted with its front paws resting on a sturdy light-colored artificial rock with an irregular surface, while the rear part of the body and the hind legs firmly rest on the supporting plane. The taxidermy highlights the thick fur of dark brown color, typical of this aquatic rodent. The head is raised with the mouth open, clearly displaying the prominent, unmistakable incisors of bright orange color. At the rear extends along its entire length the characteristic large flat dark tail, supported horizontally. Also clearly defined are the anatomical details of the webbed hind feet and the sturdy front claws. Conditions: High-quality taxidermy in excellent preservation state. The fur is dense and uniform, and the anatomical details, such as dentition and eyes, are extremely realistic and intact. Support: The specimen is equipped with an artificial integrated rocky scenic element to support the anterior part of the body, creating a visually striking three-dimensional composition. Origin: Private collection specializing in North American mammals.
