Cartwright & Woodward Sterling Silver Mounted Cut Glass Claret Jug

An Edwardian sterling silver mounted claret jug, the bulbous lead glass body decorated with an intricate strawberry diamond and star cut pattern. The glass features a slender, vertically fluted neck leading to a hallmarked sterling silver mount. The mount includes a hinged lid with a flame-style finial, a decorative spout engraved with foliate and scroll motifs, and a cast S-scroll handle embellished with acanthus leaves.
