This canvas unfolds an almost liturgical fantasy where the real world seems to tilt into a vibrant dream. The toppled figure, suspended in a posture both vulnerable and ceremonial, becomes the pivot of a universe where the cat, the fish, and the flowers float like symbols of unbridled imagination. The saturated palette, dominated by reds and purples, creates a dramatic tension that envelops the scene in mystical warmth. The whole piece captivates with its narrative energy and its blend of gentleness and strangeness, like a visual tale that rejects all logic to better celebrate the poetic impulse. Charps is an artist collected in more than twenty countries and with a few canvases in public collections.
