Cristal Quartz Point Clear Quartz Tower Point - Height...

Elegantly Quartz Point — A refined clear quartz obelisk, cut and polished to enhance its transparency and the fascinating internal inclusions, evidence of its natural growth in Brazil. — This specimen consists of a meticulously worked and polished crystal of clear quartz (SiO₂) shaped as an obelisk. Clear quartz, or rock crystal, is the macrocrystalline transparent variety of quartz, characterized by its hexagonal structure. The obelisk cut, with its flat faces and faceted tip, is not random but serves to highlight the mineral’s natural optical properties and intrinsic purity. The surface is perfectly glossy, allowing a clear view into the interior of the crystal. The visual analysis reveals predominant translucence, interspersed with fascinating internal veils and inclusions that create complex and dynamic optical effects. One can observe more milky zones and natural growth fractures that have sealed over time, often forming true ‘phantoms’ of crystal growth, i.e., outlines of previous growth stages. These features, far from being imperfections, represent the crystal’s geologic history, offering notable visual depth and aesthetic interest. The provenance from Brazilian deposits is well known for producing high-quality quartz, both in rough and worked forms. Brazil is a geologically rich area of hydrothermal veins and pegmatites that have favored the growth of quartz crystals of exceptional size and purity. The formation of this quartz dates back to geological processes millions of years ago, where silica- saturated solutions slowly crystallized within rock cavities. From an aesthetic standpoint, the obelisk presents a slender, balanced shape, making it a piece with a strong visual impact. The inclusions and internal veils capture light and create unique refractions, making every viewing angle different. The workmanship quality and the luster of the surfaces contribute to giving the piece an intrinsic elegance that makes it suitable for a variety of display contexts. The condition is excellent, with no signs of damage or restoration. The crystal is intact and the polishing is impeccably maintained, as evidenced by the provided images. The base of the obelisk is flat and stable, allowing secure and elevating display on any surface. This clear quartz obelisk represents a specimen of notable collectible value, combining the mineral’s natural beauty with the precision of workmanship. It is a piece that stands out for its transparency, the richness of its internal inclusions, and its provenance. Ideal for mineral collectors who appreciate the fusion between lapidary art and geological wonders, as well as for those seeking a refined decorative element with a deep and fascinating geological history.
