Eduardo Chillida (1924-2002) - Composition

Eduardo Chillida Dimensions: 40x30 cm with paspartu. Frame not included Printed signature, limited edition 500 exemplars, numbered. Taller Hatz, San Sebastián, Poligrafa. Very good condition Careful packaging and international registered shipping While Eduardo Chillida is universally celebrated for his monumental steel and stone sculptures, his graphic work—particularly his etchings and lithographs—reveals an equally masterful exploration of space, where heavy ink and stark paper engage in a dramatic dance of form and void. This graphic brilliance directly mirrors the printmaking legacies of titans like Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí, who similarly utilized the graphic medium to strip their artistic visions down to their most urgent, raw essences. Much like Picasso's masterful linocuts or Dalí's surrealist etchings, Chillida’s graphic art proves that paper can hold just as much architectural power and emotional weight as three-dimensional sculpture.
