Elgin AOPA Pilots 24 Hour Wrist Watch. #F8535. This revolutionary wrist watch for pilots was put into production in 1951. AOPA by Elgin National Watch Co.. It was the first 24-hour watch designed to enable pilots and plane owners to start using the 24-hours time system used in the United States. The AOPA contains one of Elgin's most accurate and reliable watch movements with 17 Jewels. The AOPA watch includes these features: Black face with luminous hands and numbers. Sweep-second hand.
