ÉTUI À CLÉ DE LA KA‘BA BRODÉ DE FILS MÉTALLIQUES, ARABIE SAOUDITE, XXe SIÈCLE Bel étui à clé de la Ka‘ba, de forme rectangulaire, brodé sur un riche fond textile vert de fils métalliques dorés et argentés. La composition est centrée par une imposante inscription calligraphique arabe, inscrite dans un large cartouche ovale, entouré de motifs végétaux en volutes et encadré d’une bordure rectangulaire richement brodée. INSCRIPTIONS : « Commandé pour être réalisé par le Gardien des Deux Saintes Mosquées, Fahd ben Abdelaziz Al Saoud. » Au revers : « Certes, Allah vous commande de rendre les dépôts à leurs ayants droit. » Coran, sourate An-Nisâ’ (4:58).
