New York: Ward & Gould, 1803, 8vo. Writing under the pseudonym “Aristides,” William Van Ness defends Burr. Van Ness, who served as Burr’s second in the Hamilton duel would later be revealed as the author. Approximate dimensions: 8 1/2 x 5 1/8 x 1/2 in. (21.6 x 13 x 1.3 cm.)
