Hardcover in Very Good condition, 12mo, pages: 228, 40 publisher's adverts. Green cloth with spine titles in gold, blind-stamped spine decorations and rules, publisher's advertisement paste-downs, 76 color images (in 40 plates, as called for) and 6 engravings in text, index. First edition (NAP). Also laid in is a publisher's sheet extolling the success of these atlases and that 100,000 copies will be published. Tips are lightly bumped, spine ends a bit worn, blank leaves at front and rear seem glued near the hinges to the paste-downs (possibly to strengthen the hinges?), else contents are very clean.
