A classic collection of local lore, regional tales, island history, and maritime anecdotes from Martha's Vineyard, written by long-time Vineyard Gazette columnist Joseph C. Allen. Condition: Binding: Tight, square, and sound. Original cloth covers show light shelf wear to edges and corners, with mild sunning/fading along the spine. Interior: Clean and crisp throughout. No internal markings, bookplates, or heavy foxing. Text block is solid with light, natural age-toning to endpapers. Overall: A very presentable, Very Good copy of a scarce regional island classic.
