Made in U.S.A. 1931-1939. Double-sided porcelain (DSP). Socony - Vacuum was formed July 1931. The gargoyle branding also began its exodus in 1931 but did continue to be used after ths Socony Vacuum formation for a brief period. This is a very hard to find transitional piece that still has the Gargoyle Branding but also has the Socony Vacuum verbiage. Unmarked. Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #501867).
