Val d'Aoste Gold Discovery An Exceptional, Documented Find from the Italian Alps This is an unprecedented opportunity to acquire a piece of geological and historical rarity. We present a very rare, original gold discovery originating from the legendary and mineral-rich region of the Val d'Aoste. What Does This Lot Offer? Raw Alpine Beauty: The find consists of 43 separate specimens of quartz, richly impregnated with visible veins of pure gold and, in some places, with rare silver veins—a classic and highly sought-after Alpine formation. The lot also includes a separate pouch with fine, natural gold flakes, sourced from the same location. Total Weight: Approximately 200 grams of gold-bearing quartz and gold flakes. The Value of Documentation and Exclusivity What truly makes this lot unique and even rarer is its immediate historical context and documentation. This specific find was made available by the original discoverer for publication and will be described and illustrated in the forthcoming, prestigious reference work: Metal and Gold Prospecting (2026 Edition). You acquire not only the find itself but also the exclusive connection to this important geological book. The successful bidder of this lot will also receive the book, free of charge, delivered to their home as soon as it is published in the first semester of 2026. This is more than a mineral; it is a documented historical collector's item.
