HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars

HONG KONG (SAR). Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation. 100 Dollars, 31.3.1979. P-187b. KNB74c. Printing Error. PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. This note is where the red frame, the penultimate layer of printing which is before the signatures, dates and serial numbers, is misaligned compared to the other coloured layers. This is evidenced by a small white gap between the upper border and the underprint. It is NOT the more common error where the black text, the final printing layer, is misaligned compared to the coloured printing. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500. Provenance: From the Grass Unweeded Collection.

Estimate:£378.37
