Domaine Huet is the most storied estate in Vouvray, founded in 1928 and raised to legend by Gaston Huet, the winemaker-mayor who defended the appellation for more than half a century. The Clos du Bourg, a walled vineyard on shallow soil over solid limestone beside the old town, gives Huet’s most powerful and racy wines. This is a bone-dry Sec from the ripe 2009 vintage.
