All auctions / Contemporary Art / Ivan Pili - Behind the hat
Ivan Pili is an internationally active contemporary painter, recognized for his distinctive approach to figurative hyperrealism and atmospheric abstraction. "Behind the Hat" is about choosing how much of ourselves we allow others to see. The face disappears completely beneath the brim, while the body remains exposed to the light, creating a contrast between visibility and concealment. The hat becomes more than an accessory: it is a boundary, a small private space behind which identity can remain untouched. The title suggests that what truly defines her is precisely what the viewer cannot see. Info & Shipping: - Some images present the artwork placed within illustrative interior settings to help visualize it in different environments or with different framing options.
