JAPAN. Koban, ND (1819-28). Bunsei Era. PCGS Genuine--Chopmark, AU Details. Fr-14; JNDA-09-20; JC-03-16. Weight: 13.10 gms. Wholly original looking, this pleasing example displays rich mottled patina with even wear. A single small chop is noticed on the reverse accounting for the details designation, but is hardly a distraction. Overall a charming piece that clearly sat for a prolonged period of time undisturbed. Estimate: $2,000 - $3,000. Estimate:£906.13
