No name on the Mosel carries more mystique than Joh. Jos. Prüm, whose Wehlen estate makes Rieslings so tightly coiled in youth – often with a whiff of spritz and reduction – that they can take decades to reveal their genius, and age for half a century or more. Katharina Prüm now leads the family estate. 2019 was a great, racy Mosel vintage. Richard Hemming MW gave it 16 out of 20.
