Condition: Excellent Image/Subject: Ute Klophaus Provenance: Private collection Description Rare Xerox work - hand-signed by Beuys. From the performance Manresa/Main Current, which took place over several days in 1965/1967 at Galerie Schmela. Here Beuys is shown, characteristic with hat, backside, with the typical materials (copper tray and object from Element I). Subject: Ute Klophaus - one of the best-known photographers of the 1970s. The subject here is depicted on the cover of her book edition. The IMAGE is for documentation purposes - the book edition is not part of the offer. Licensed release; here by Cologne gallery Monschau. Stamp on the back. Beuys acquired the rights to Klophaus’s images and altered the colors within the frame of his XEROX series (the images were enlarged and printed by copying). The works were color-altered - here toward gray - HAND-SIGNED by Beuys with a black pen. Delivery with frame - as pictured. Condition: pristine print - on the back minor adhesive traces; signature flawless; Galerie Monschau stamp color-stable.
