Jozefina Krosno Hand Blown Art Glass Sea Turtle Sculpture

This hand-blown art glass sea turtle sculpture was produced by Jozefina Atelier in Krosno, Poland. The piece features a stylized representational form with a large, domed shell of honey-amber glass encased in a dark brown organic vein or crackle pattern. The extremities, including the small head, pointed tail, and four ribbed flippers, are fashioned from applied clear glass. The underside is finished with a large, ground-out pontil mark where the blowpipe was detached. The item retains its original black and gold factory sticker which identifies it as a Jozefina product made in Poland.
