L. Cheron (XX) - Nature morte au bouquet de fleurs champêtres

L. CHÉRON (active in the 20th century) - Still life with a rich bouquet of countryside flowers. Delightful oil on panel depicting a classic floral still life. The work is signed "L. Chéron" at the bottom left. The composition stands out for a generous and harmonious bouquet of flowers in contrasting tones (blooming pinks, red poppies, white daisies) delicately arranged in a dark ceramic vase. The whole stands out against a sober background in gray and earthy hues that enhances the brightness of the plants. The artist shows fine technical precision in the drapery of the petals and the play of cast shadows, lending great relief and freshness to this piece. The painting is beautifully showcased by its original period frame in heavy gilded wood, bringing superb brightness and a classic, elegant touch, ideal for a vintage or charming interior.
