Casa Lapostolle was founded in Chile in 1994 by Alexandra Marnier-Lapostolle of the Grand Marnier family, with Michel Rolland long its consulting oenologist. The Cuvée Alexandre range is its terroir-focused tier; this Merlot is grown on the granite slopes of the Apalta amphitheatre in Colchagua. 2012 was a cool, even Chilean vintage.
