Blackware pottery seed jar, featuring a deeply carved and incised geometric composition. The spherical earthenware vessel is decorated with stylized motifs including stepped clouds and curvilinear water serpent elements, executed with alternating burnished and matte surfaces. Hand-crafted using traditional reduction firing techniques to achieve the carbon-impregnated black finish.
