(Printed letterhead), to the banker PERREGAUX (Alphonse-Claude, Count of) 1750–1808—Regent of the Bank of France (1800) – He replies to his letter: “Overwhelmed by an endless stream of requests unrelated to my duties, I am compelled to limit my correspondence to what is strictly necessary”… He will hand over to Messrs. RANSON and MORLAND, prominent bankers, the list of positions that PERREGAUX sent him…
