Luca Cartoonist - Sleeping (Resin artwork)

Resined artwork, 40x40x4 cm, with a glossy finish, the photo shows an example of the reflection seen in backlight. The work comes directly from the artist's studio, in perfect condition. The entire painting was handmade with acrylic paint on a collage of comics applied on canvas, and coated with resin over the entire painting, giving the piece that shiny plastified look that will protect the color over time. It is a unique original piece, not in a series, and it will arrive ready to hang at home, i.e., already framed. Accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. Shipping with Brt courier, delivery in 24-48 working hours (in Italy) The work is hand-signed on both sides. On my social pages Luca.Cartoonist you can view all my works. Luca Cartoonist, registered name Luca Angelini, born 1986, is an emerging artist in the world of pop art. Always passionate about comics (Disney foremost), he graduated in graphic advertising at the Art Institute of Ascoli Piceno and then completed studies earning a degree in comics and illustration from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna. Drawing and painting will continue to be part of his life despite a different (yet always artistic) career path, until 2020, when, during the pandemic, he decides to fully enter the world of pop art. He mainly represents characters from the cartoon/comics world, adapting and placing them in current situations, often using pop icons from yesterday and today. He mainly uses acrylic paints, spray cans, and mixed techniques of printing and collage on canvas. Collaborations since 2021 with several Italian art galleries; he has participated with his works in events such as ArtParmafair, BAF, and some group exhibitions (MilanoFashion & Art, Espressioni d'artista…) You can follow his work on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook pages "luca.cartoonist"
