Lunaria - Julia Niiazbekova

Lunaria by Julia Niiazbekova Painting 30.0 x 30.0 :: One of the most revealing lessons that can be learned from plants and nature in general is to appreciate the uniqueness and charm of each part of the life cycle. When I was working on this painting I was inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of the Lunaria plant. After evolving through the different stages of its life the last aging stage is not only a loss but the true rarity of this plant what makes it attractive and special. For me this stage represents honesty because the membrane of the Lunaria sheath is so translucent it is incapable of hiding anything. The painting is heavily textured and detailed. The golden leaf underneath the paint creates a beautiful shining-through-like effect. The colors are classy and will match most interior spaces. This is a true masterpiece allowing for new details to emerge at every glance. Original abstract oil painting ""Lunaria"" created with brushes and a palette knife on primed canvas.
