Mart Signed - No Hands, No Eyes, Just Art

Building material Gallery value: Original signed Mart Signed stencil artworks, not prints, are offered through European galleries with prices roughly between €3,000 and €4,000, reflecting the positioning and collecting interest reached by the artist’s work. Technique: Spray stencil and mixed media on street-recovered materials, selected to preserve the identity and authenticity of the street art language. Dimensions: The indicated dimensions refer to the specific piece offered and should be considered approximate due to the irregular shape and perimeter of the fragment. Certificate of authenticity: Included and signed by the artist. Broken Wall Broken Wall arises from Mart Signed’s exploration of the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings a fragment of street language into homes, galleries, and private collections, transforming a surface marked by time into a contemporary artwork. The wall is not merely the support for the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the cracks, the traces of time, and the natural features of the material preserve the link with the urban context from which street art originates. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is shattered, and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The artwork Each journey is marked by a final gesture. One brushstroke transforms 22 into 33, turning a common number into a symbol. A essential gesture that goes beyond the image: sacrifice, creation, hope, and memory meet in a single final sign. The work does not impose an answer, but leaves every viewer free to find their own interpretation. The stencil is created directly on the support: this is not a print or a reproduction. The work depicted in the photographs is exactly what the collector will receive. Materials and authenticity The materials recovered from the street are chosen to maintain the living connection with the original language of street art. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities, and natural imperfections are not defects, but elements belonging to the material’s history and to the artwork’s identity. These characteristics are intentionally preserved and integrated into the creative process. The artwork is signed, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, and delivered ready to be hung. The frame is not included, unless otherwise indicated for the specific piece. Instagram and project participation The journey of the artwork can continue even after purchase. Collectors can share their piece on Instagram by tagging @martsigned and using the hashtag #MartSigned. Artworks correctly tagged may be reshared by the artist through their channels, showing the different destinations reached by the works and creating a direct connection between artist, collector, and public. Periodically, special initiatives, giveaways or small street-art-related gifts may also be organized via social networks. Participation is voluntary and independent from the purchase of the work. Any modalities and conditions are communicated through the artist’s official channels. The artist Mart Signed is an Italian street artist active internationally. His works are part of private collections in numerous countries, and his artistic research centers on the concept “Where Are You Street Art?”: bringing the language and material of the street into homes, galleries, private collections, and spaces traditionally distant from the urban context. Over the years, Mart Signed has developed an international presence through collaborations and relationships with various entities in the art world. His research connects street art, urban memory, recovered materials, and spatial transformation. In 2023, Mart Signed also participated in a documentary about Banksy and street art culture. Shipping The artwork is shipped via specialized couriers managed by Mail Boxes Etc. Each piece is carefully packaged, protected, and insured, with special attention to the most delicate parts and to the irregular shape of the support. Shipping includes full tracking from dispatch to delivery. In the event of a high volume of shipments, preparation and delivery may take a few extra days. For any shipping information, you can contact the artist directly through the platform. Edition and uniqueness Broken Wall comprises a limited series of 20 unique works. Each piece is produced individually and no two pieces can be identical. The shape of the support, the fracture, the surface, the marks, the imperfections, and the material characteristics naturally vary from work to work, making each piece unreproducible. The 20 works share the same artistic concept and core idea, but each maintains its own physical and visual identity. Therefore, they are not 20 copies or reproductions of the same work, but 20 unique and distinct pieces, all belonging to the Broken Wall series. Each work is identified by a specific code shown on the certificate of authenticity.
