A silver vessel with a rounded body. The plain body is engraved with the initials ‘DW’, surmounted by a peacock. The rim, outlined with fillets, is adorned with a flower-shaped knob upon which the blackened wooden handle rests. The reverse is also engraved with the initials ‘GKM’. Hallmarks: 1st standard, Brussels 1814–1831, and silversmith’s mark. Height: 14 cm. Gross weight: 234 g. (normal wear and scratches, sold as is) Exhibition: Displayed at a J.G. Dutalis exhibition at the Sterckshof (Deurne/Antwerp) from 7 September 2004 to 28 November 2004 and at Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn (Netherlands) from 18 December 2004 to 13 March 2005.
