Chromatic Postcards is a series of abstract paintings that explores color as a language capable of transcending representation and connecting directly with emotional experience. Each work is born from the conviction that color possesses an almost spiritual dimension: a silent energy that transforms perception, awakens memories and generates states of contemplation. These compositions do not represent a concrete place, but function as small postcards from an inner landscape, inviting the viewer to discover their own reading through the relationship between light, form and color. Built through geometrical shapes of great precision, the works establish a delicate balance between order and sensitivity. Rectangles, planes and intersections are overlaid with a seemingly simple logic that hides a complex investigation into chromatic relationships. In this sense, the series maintains a dialogue with the tradition of geometric abstraction and, especially, with the investigations of Josef Albers on the interaction of color, where each shade modifies and redefines the perception of the others. However, these compositions do not seek only to demonstrate an optical phenomenon, but to turn that interaction into an emotional and deeply human experience. Entirely made in acrylic on canvas, the paintings pursue a visual harmony in which each shape finds its place within a carefully constructed system. Transparencies, overlaps and proportions generate depth without recourse to traditional perspective, creating spaces of calm where color takes on an almost tangible presence. Chromatic Postcards proposes a slow contemplation, reminding us that abstraction can also be a territory of emotion, silence and balance, where geometry ceases to be a rigid structure to become a living language capable of expressing what words cannot reach. About MUMA: MUMA is an artistic duo formed by a 3D Generalist and Designer and an Art Historian, both trained at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Their artistic practice focuses on the plastic arts, with special interest in color, movement and the dynamism of forms, as well as variations of the environment. Their work is conceived to integrate into space and establish a direct dialogue with routine and human experience, exploring a vital vision linked to the ideals of impressionism, such as the relationship with nature, color and changing environments. MUMA is connected to the professional world of digital and plastic arts in Madrid, with participations in competitions. About preparation, packaging and shipping of the work: The work is hand-signed by the artistic duo and comes with a certificate of authenticity also signed by them. The canvas, rolled, is carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard tube and will be shipped within three business days after purchase confirmation. The estimated delivery time will depend on the destination and the selected shipping company.
