Strong hooked outlines, ivory accents, and smaller tribal devices give the composition a powerful, almost heraldic character. Its saturated coloration and highly graphic drawing make it an excellent example of the visual strength associated with Caucasian village carpets. Both ends are complete and hand-secured with original kilim at one end, and the sides are secured. There is no dryness in the foundation. The rug is clean and floor-ready.
