Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) - “Le pingouin, 1907". - 60 x 50 cm.

Picasso: “Le pingouin, 1907". Authorized screen print. Condition: the work is in excellent condition. Format: 60 x 50 cm. The high-quality screen print underlines the graphic quality of the motif and gives the work a clear, pronounced presence. Picasso's concise animal representations belong to the most charming examples of his playful drawing. With a few precise lines the artist manages to capture movement, character and expression in an impressive way. The motif "Le pingouin" from 1907 comes from a particularly fascinating early phase of Picasso's creation, in which his experimental formal language had already begun to take shape. Works from this period are regarded as particularly interesting for collectors, because they form the basis for later, style-defining developments. The depiction convinces with its reduced, expressive line work and a direct, vivid imagery. It is precisely the animal depictions from this phase that possess their own character and clearly distinguish themselves from later, heavily abstracted works. Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage between protective acid-free paper. The photos shown are part of the description.
