Marabout POMPON Magnificent subject in polystone resin, marabout model, in excellent overall condition. Height: 14 cm Width: 5.5 x 6.5 cm Beautiful finish and carefully crafted details. Brand new product, quickly delivered in careful packaging. Pompon spent the vast majority of his life in service to other artists. He ran Rodin's workshop from 1890 to 1895, before becoming the assistant of René de Saint-Marceaux until 1916. In search of his own style, he was heavily influenced by the rise of japonisme and his admiration for Egyptian art. It was only at the age of 67 that he reached fame with the exhibition of his famous White Bear. Parastone has successfully created decorative objects for almost 50 years, some of timeless classical beauty and others more in line with prevailing trends. The Mouseion collection of museum pieces constitutes an important part of the collection. In addition to exact reproductions of major works of art, the Mouseion series also includes three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, from Hieronymus Bosch to Salvador Dalí. “decorative object, luxury item, table art, collector, interior decoration, figurine, sculpture, no panther, no Orlinski” The photos are part of the description.
