PATIÍ - AMSTERDAM

Amsterdam, 2022 Acrylic on canvas, 120 × 90 cm. Painted shortly after my move to Amsterdam in 2022. The composition was inspired by a famous photograph of Amsterdam’s canal houses, which I used as a starting reference. I then visited the location in person to observe the architecture, light and reflections before developing the painting. The reflected façades are deliberately fragmented and expressive, transforming the recognisable cityscape into a more atmospheric interpretation of Amsterdam. Due to its large size, the painting will be carefully rolled, protected and securely packaged for shipping.
