circa 1940 watch case: 18k gold, number 224245, striped decoration, engraved nameplate, length when closed approx. 29 mm, width approx. 13 mm movement: Hand-wound, lever escapement, compensation balance dial: Black, Arabic numerals accessories: pendant cord, fabric pouch The case of this decoratively designed pendant watch was manufactured by Ponti, Gennari & Cie, a company also known for its collaboration with Patek Philippe.
