PHILIPPINES. First Legislative Assembly Bronze Medal, 1907. NGC MS-64 Brown. Honeycutt-78. Diameter: 38 mm. By Crispulo Zamora. Tied for finest certified with two other examples on either the NGC or PCGS population reports. Obverse: Insular government insignia, legend around "*PRIMERA ASAMBLEA LEGISLATIVA* 16 OCTUBRE 1907"; Reverse: Inscription on banner "MANILA" superimpose on laurel branch, medalists name in lower left quadrant "CRISPULO ZAMORA". Beautifully preserved and attractive, this lovely example displays rich brown patina with a nice cartwheel effect. The surfaces are smooth and highlight the bold devices adding to its pleasing appearance. A lovely example offering much originality and good eye appeal. Estimate: $500 - $700.
