PHILIPPINES. Lot of (2). Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. 1 Piso, 1949

PHILIPPINES. Lot of (2). Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. 1 Piso, 1949 (ND 1969). P-142bpm1 & 142pm2. Front & Back Printer's Models. PMG Superb Gem Uncirculated 67 EPQ to Superb Gem Uncirculated 68 EPQ. One-sided front and back printer's models from the Philippines, both in Superb Gem Uncirculated grades. At first glance, these appear identical to the issued notes, but upon closer inspection, small differences can be observed, most notably the guilloche elements around the denomination counters on the front. For the advanced specialist of the country, this and the lots that follow no doubt represent an exciting opportunity to acquire a variety of items directly linked to the design process of this series, dating back to the late 1960s. We strongly suggest you consider this lot, as we are uncertain when we will have another opportunity to present such an exciting item from this era of Philippine banknote history.

Estimate:£1,135.11
