EPISCOPOS CONVENTVRVS INSVLAS/ CHRITVM VERITATIS PHILIPPINAS ET AVSTRALASAM AD/ PACISQVE MAGISTRVM NVNTIANDVM PETIT. A. MCMIXX"; hallmark in lower left quadrant near edge, stamped "900". Beautifully preserved and attractive, this ultra high relief piece exhibits bold intricate design features of high artistic value. The surfaces exhibit a somewhat canvas like texture imitating that of a fine painting. Rich slate patina highlights the devices offering a slight two tone appearance. A pleasing piece that is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
